Douglas X. Rodriguez, associate, received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Biochemistry from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1996, and a J.D. degree from Washington College of Law, American University in 2002.

Mr. Rodriguez’s practice focuses on the preparation of electrical and mechanical patent applications as well as the prosecution of these applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. His areas of expertise include semiconductors, plasma and liquid crystal display devices, memory devices, data processing, and consumer electronics.

Mr. Rodriguez is a former Patent Examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. At the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, Mr. Rodriguez was responsible for the examination of patent applications relating to scanners, electronic readers, and magnetic and smart cards.

Mr. Rodriguez is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He is a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association and the American Bar Association.
