Christopher Reaves, Patent Attorney, graduated with honors from the University of California at Irvine in 2003, with a bachelor’s in computer science, and recently earned his J.D. from the George Washington University Law School. Mr. Reaves is working at Stein McEwen, LLP as a Road to the Future Fellow.
During law school, Mr. Reaves participated in an exchange to the Munich Intellectual Property Law Center. He served on the staff of the AIPLA Quarterly Journal, and has also researched for BNA, Inc.’s Patent, Trademark & Copyright Journal, writing numerous published articles on recent developments in intellectual property law. The Virginia State Bar’s Intellectual Property Section honored one of his class papers, which analyzed the legal validity and shortcomings of YouTube’s copyright enforcement policies, as the best student paper in the field of IP for 2011.
Mr. Reaves is licensed to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and is a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association.
