Woo Hyoung Cho, law intern, received his B.A. degree in Law from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in 1999, M.A. degree in Law from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in 2006, Executive LL.M from Northwestern University in 2007 and is a candidate for his J.D. degree from the University of Richmond in the spring, 2011.
Mr. Cho was a legal intern and paralegal assistant at KIM, CHOI & LIM ATTORNEYS AT LAW, one of the top ten law firms in South Korea. His responsibilities included assisting attorneys in the field of patent and international business transactions in South Korea. He was responsible for document filings at the Korea Industrial Property Office (KIPO), and also performed factual and legal research and investigations for client case files concerning copyright law and patent law issues. He was also a legal intern at the AUSTIN FUND, a private investment company. He assisted attorneys in the fields of finance and corporate governance.
Mr. Cho is fluent in Korean. He served his military duties in South Korea for about two years.
